Pinnacle International has launched sales for Crystal 2, the second tower at Pinnacle Uptown in Mississauga. The mixed-use community at Hurontario and Eglinton will be developed with condos, townhouses, retail and commercial space. The Crystal towers will have extensive amenities, a location with good highway access and improved transit with the planned Hurontario-Main LRT line.
Pinnacle International is now selling units at Crystal 2 starting from the $200,000s. Both towers have nearly topped out—only the penthouse levels have yet to be poured.
Historicist designs once dominated Mississauga, but the Crystal towers offer sharp contemporary design by Richmond Architects. The former suburb is moving in a new direction.
Units will have floor-to-ceiling glass. Parking will be underground. Suites in the 24 storey tower range from 616 to 1026 square feet. These units will feature wood doors, as well as laminate wood flooring in the living room, dining room, den and hallway. Bedrooms will have designer carpet with foam underpad.
Pinnacle Uptown’s amenities are outstanding. Crystal 2 will have a 24-hour concierge. The project will feature 28,000 square feet of amenity space in total. Residents will have access to a swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna and fitness centre. There will also be a library, games room, business centre, a screening room and an outdoor terrace.
Much of Mississauga was built with the car in mind. Pinnacle Uptown’s location reflects that. Roads are wide, and the location is in close proximity to highways 401 and 403. However, Mississauga is taking steps to build up its neighbourhoods, adding density and a mix of uses so that the former suburb can mature into a vibrant city.
The Hurontario-Main LRT line will provide fast transit service between downtown Brampton and Port Credit in Mississauga. This line will pass in front of the Crystal towers. Residents will be able to quickly travel to Mississauga’s emerging downtown in the Square One area.
Unsurprisingly, Pinnacle International is building densely and incorporating retail and commercial space—the Hurontario corridor will urbanize into a more walkable area around the LRT. The Crystal towers offer an affordable and attractive option for condo buyers looking for a great area that will continue to grow and evolve with new amenities like the LRT.
